This position will require the ability to complete multiple cross-functional projects while maintaining the general requirements of the position in a time-sensitive environment. Candidates must have 3-5 years of previous Human Resources Management experience.

Summary

This position requires a dynamic and motivated self-starter who will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department with a strong emphasis in recruitment. The HR Assistant/Recruiter will work with the Training and Recruitment Manager to provide both the retail stores and growing facilities support with full cycle recruitment process, general day-to-day inquires and ensuring efficient administrative operations and associate relations. This position requires a dedicated and insightful person who is capable of effectively communicating with all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities 

  • This position requires the ability to complete multiple cross-functional projects with while maintaining the general requirements of the position in a time-sensitive environment Responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:

    • Assist with full-cycle recruiting including posting open positions, reviewing resumes, screening and interviewing, new hiring processing and onboarding
    • Assist with the day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including document management and data entry
    • Ensure compliance with personnel file management
    • Form I9 compliance including work permits
    • Processing and overseeing all site general liability incidents and claims
    • Overseeing the retail division safety program
    • Employment Verifications
    • Supply ordering
    • Assist with the day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including document management and data entry.
    • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting specific project deadlines
    • General assistance and back-up as needed

Education/Experience

  • Previous Human Resources experience - 1-5 years (preferred)
  • Previous retail experienced (preferred)
  • Understanding of basic HR practices (employment, hiring, benefits etc…) (required)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) (required)
  • Communication: strong written and verbal communication (required)
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail. (required)
  • Bachelors Degree (preferred)

Compensation

Salary Range: $24-$27
