Jeff has been in the landscape industry for over 18 years. He has worked for nurseries, a nonprofit tree-planting organization, and a plant healthcare company before Armstrong. He has an Associate's degree in Horticulture Science, is a certified arborist, a qualified pesticide applicator, and is a Certified California Nursery Professional. Welcome to Armstrong Garden Centers, Long Beach
I have been with Armstrong Garden Centers since 2001, but have been in the horticulture industry since before 1990 while working at my father's nursery. My favorite plant is the Japanese maple because of the stunning array of colors they are available in, and the interesting patterns of the leaves. My favorite part of the job is meeting new people each day. I also enjoy getting to know our repeat customers and seeing familiar faces walk through our gate. I have worked at many different Armstrong locations but find the Long Beach store is unique in that it is tucked away in the middle of a residential neighborhood, away from other businesses, which gives our store a very homey feel. When I'm not working at Armstrong, I'm a hockey lover and can be found watching the LA Kings, and every now and then I will slip on a pair of ice skates and play a bit myself. I'd love to have you stop in to visit us at Long Beach, and look forward to helping you with all of your gardening needs!
