Join us all throughout the year and learn tips to help you to succeed in your garden; whether you are a true green thumb or just getting started, we offer a wider variety of classes to grow your knowledge!


Free Garden Classes are held at most Armstrong Garden Centers locations.

No registration needed. Simply show up ready to learn (some classes such as Make & Take classes are subject to fees and registration).

Houseplants Made Easy

Saturday, August 19th at 9am

Houseplants do so much more than beautify our homes; they also promote healthier environments by cleaning pollutants from the air.  Let us show you how to select the perfect houseplant for your home and help it thrive.

Saturday, September 9th at 9am

Dig right in and get a jump start on fall planting! We'll show you the tools for success, how to determine your soil type and sunlight, and give information on mulching, planting, watering and more. All skill levels are welcome to attend.

Meet The Designers (Select Stores*)

Saturday, September 23rd - 10am to 2pm

Join us at select stores* for an opportunity to meet with a true garden design expert. Designers will give an overview of available services, show off their portfolios, as well as answer general landscape design questions.

Garden Talks

Armstrong Garden Centers has garden experts that can come speak to your organization or group on nearly any garden topic from waterwise gardening to planting a container garden.

Click the button below to fill in a request form to get started; once we can confirm your preferred date an associate from your nearest Armstrong Garden Centers store will contact you to finalize. Garden talk locations must be within 5 miles from a Armstrong Garden Centers location and we ask that there be at least 12 people in attendance.
