Join us all throughout the year and learn tips to help you to succeed in your garden; whether you are a true green thumb or just getting started, we offer a wider variety of classes to grow your knowledge!

Free Garden Classes are held at all Armstrong Garden Centers locations.

No registration needed. Simply show up ready to learn (some classes such as Make & Take classes are subject to fees and registration).

Rose Selection and Pruning

Saturday, February 6th at 9am

Plant roses now! We've got our best selection and you'll be cutting bouquets by spring. Our class instruction and demonstration will demystify rose pruning. Learn how pruning keeps plants healthy and promotes lots of gorgeous blooms.

Fruit Tree Selection and Pruning

Saturday, February 6th at 11am

Choose your fruit trees now from our largest-of-the-year selection, hand-picked by our experts for your neighborhood. We'll guide you in choosing, and demonstrate the easy principles of pruning. (Citrus pruning is covered in our Citrus Care class later in the year.)

Garden Talks

Armstrong Garden Centers has garden experts that can come speak to your organization or group on nearly any garden topic from waterwise gardening to planting a container garden.

Click the button below to fill in a request form to get started; once we can confirm your preferred date an associate from your nearest Armstrong Garden Centers store will contact you to finalize. Garden talk locations must be within 5 miles from a Armstrong Garden Centers location and we ask that there be at least 12 people in attendance.
