I have been with Armstrong Garden center since March 1, 2011. I have worked in the retail garden center business for 32 years, and owned my own garden center chain, in Utah, for 20 years. I am a third generation garden center owner and have learned all aspects of the business, from growing and propagating, to selling and marketing, of all garden green goods and hard goods.  I am most interested in color. From annuals and perennials, to blooming shrubs and trees. The color in the garden are the actors on the stage of the show that is your garden.  I love to find new and exciting blooming plants and put them together for the greatest impact and inspiration.  My favorite part of the job is interacting with the people that come into my store. Gardening is a passion and I love to inspire new gardeners to feel that same passion for their garden.  I love working outside and coming into such a beautiful place every morning, and enjoy sharing this place with others.   Personally I love to travel and see the world and enjoy seeing landscapes throughout the world for inspiration. I am a private pilot and love to fly whenever possible. I have 3 great kids who love plants and gardening.  I also speak fluent Spanish and English.  I welcome all to this beautiful showplace in Torrance.
