Nursery Professional/Sales Associate

Our sales associates play an integral role in the success of our garden centers.  Sales associates interact with our customers providing superior customer service and excellent plant advice.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist customers with garden related questions and recommendations.
  2. Assist in general nursery maintenance including watering and pruning plant material.
  3. Order and restock garden center merchandise.
  4. Create and assist with visual displays and merchandising of products.
  5. Assist with the compliance of company standards.

Position Requirements:

Must pass a written product knowledge test (available at any garden center).  Knowledge in California horticulture with the ability to communicate the knowledge clearly to customers, good communication skills, organized, ability to follow directions, and great customer service skills.

This position requires one to be able to perform physical work and heavy lifting.This position requires the ability to load and unload trucks, and moving plants and material around in the garden center.
