Our Rose Grow Planting Mix is a natural organic soil mix that was blended with the special growing requirements of roses in mind. It is a slightly acidic soil mix and contains just the right ingredients to get roses off to a good start. Even though we formulated it to be well draining, we only recommend the mix as a soil amendment, not as a stand-alone potting soil. It can also be used as a mulch around most rose plantings. Contains composted fir bark, redwood compost, mushroom compost, composted chicken manure, sphagnum peat moss, earthworm castings, volcanic pumice, alfalfa meal, bat guano, kelp meal and gypsum. Oystershell lime and dolomite lime are added as pH adjusters.
